During their residency in San Sebastian (Donostia) in November 2014, Magdalena Kreis, Natalia Romaszkan and Ewa Służyńska jointly carried out the project “On the other side of the table”, exploring the phenomenon of Basque cuisine. They were also organizing workshops for elementary school students and prepared two murals. The result of their research is an artistic book which serves as a kind of map of flavours and places which are related to them. The artists collected many interesting recipes, customs and tidbits about the Basque culinary tradition coupled with illustrations.
